Just think what this world would be like if evil was defeated. If evil was defeated, we would have a world of Kindness in our hearts and actions with our bodies.

Let’s dream together for several minutes. What if there was no evil in the world.

If every human being allowed themselves to be motivated by Kindness and Love for each other. What an amazing place our world could be. Think of a world like this.

1. Neighborhoods where we show kindness, love, and help to all our neighbors.

2. Nursing Homes that are fully staffed and designed for its residents and staff. How wonderful it would be for our loved ones in nursing homes to live their remaining years with the best care possible given to them.

3. Police Departments designed to serve and help the people in its community.

4. A Military completely redesigned to serve those in need.

5. Hospitals that promote health and are owned by the community in which the hospital is located.

Keep in mind these important words

1. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”

2. Evil is never defeated by evil; once that road is taken, rather than defeating evil, one will instead be defeated by evil.

3. Saint Paul proposes, to flee what is evil and hold fast to what is good ( rom 12:9).

4. The one way out of the vicious circle of requiting evil for evil is to accept the apostle’s words:

“do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good” (Rom 12:21). As stated in number one above.

We must overcome evil with every act of kindness we can give to every person we come in contact with. Love and kindness can defeat evil. To steer a path between the conflicting claims of good and evil, the human family must work towards moral values bestowed by God himself.

For this reason, Saint Paul encourages all those determined to overcome evil with good to be noble in fostering generosity and peace Romans 12, 17 through 21.

We must overcome evil with every act of kindness we can give to every person we come in contact with. Love and kindness can defeat evil.

In closing, don’t wait for someone to start your neighborhood kindness group. This is your opportunity to make a difference in the war of good vs evil.

Just think what would happen in a community of 30,000 if a neighborhood kindness group sprang up. Then another, and then another. Wow what a place to live.

The purpose of this document is to provide information to the general public about ideas that could assist others in creating a better experience for our loved ones and staff in Long Term Care facilities. (LTC facility is a Nursing Home or an Assisted Living Facility)

PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT– The purpose of this document is to provide information to the general public with ideas about how our city Police Department could better serve our citizens of its community.

THE PHYSICAL STRUCTURES OF THE NEW POLICE DEPARTMENT ( Citizens Department )-The first thing you notice on the structure of the facility is the name change. The sign says, ” Citizens Department”, not Police Department. The outside of the, Citizens Department, has a large children’s playground, walking trail, and picnic area that can be used by citizens.

A. Staffing- The most important position at the facility will be the Chief of Citizens Department (Former named Police Chief), and the Senior Chief Assistant will have the name Community Assistant Affairs Citizens Officer. Their responsibility will be to be in charge of the Mental Health Citizens Crisis Respond Team.

a. The Mental Health Citizens Crisis Respond Team will respond to any mental health crisis in the different substations.

A. The Mental Health Citizens Respond Team will consist of highly trained individuals who respond to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Those individuals will be dressed in civilian clothes but fully prepared to take care of any situation. The overall goal of this Citizens Respond Team is to de-escalate the situation of a citizen experiencing a mental health crisis. They would arrive on the scene in an unmarked Citizens Department car as to not be a threat to the family that is experiencing a mental health crisis.

2. SUBSTATIONS–

A. Substations will be built throughout the community in which that Citizens Department serves the citizens of that section of town.

B. PHYSICAL PLANT OF SUBSTATION- The physical description of the building would look like this.

a. The building would have office space for those officers serving the citizens in that community. There would also be office space provided for volunteers from that community and other volunteers. There would be a large meeting room that would be available for community members of that neighborhood with a small kitchen. That space would also be used for meeting of citizen officers. There would also be a room with computer, study area, and library. There would be a room for repairs of bikes, and small engine repair. That room would have an outside entrance with a garage type door. Volunteers from that community would be present at different schedules to help children repair their bikes, help those citizens in the community with small engine repair, and those that need basic help with their car. The inside of the building would have a community look. Pictures of community members hanging on the walls, and just have a feeling of warmth and caring.

b. The outside of the building would have a feeling of love and warmth. There would be plenty of flowers, bird feeders, bird nest, and sitting areas. There would be a play area for children and, an outdoor half basketball court. Next to the small engine repair door would be a place where people could put air in their tires and wash their car windows. In the back of the building would be a community garden and a fire pit where on certain nights you would have a marshmallow roasting hosted by Police officers and volunteers.

C. STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS–

1. Sargent in charge of the Citizens Department Substation–

2. Community Affairs Citizens Officer– This position will be one of the most important positions at the substation.

a. The Community Affairs Citizen Officer would be in charge of scheduling the substation for use by the community in which it is located.

b. That officer will be responsible to recruit volunteers within the community of that substation. Those volunteers would work in the room with computers, study area, and library.

c. The Community Affairs Citizen Officer would recruit volunteers to work in the room for repairs of bikes, and small engine repair.

d. The Community Affairs Citizen Officer would recruit individuals to give guidance to those serving at that substation and to serve on a board that would help with the recruitment of volunteers. The recruitment of different church leaders within that community should be asked to serve.

SUMMARY- The document presents a vision for transforming the traditional Police Department into a community-centered “Citizens Department,” guided by kindness, love, service, and the belief that evil must be overcome with good.

The Citizens Department would serve as a welcoming place where officers, residents, volunteers, churches, and local organizations work together to improve their community. Its main facility would include public spaces such as a children’s playground, walking trail, and picnic area, showing citizens that the department belongs to the entire community.

A major priority would be the creation of a highly trained Mental Health Citizens Crisis Response Team. Team members would wear civilian clothing and arrive in unmarked vehicles to reduce fear and tension. Their goal would be to safely de-escalate mental health emergencies while treating individuals and families with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Smaller substations would be located throughout the city so officers could build closer relationships with the neighborhoods they serve. These substations would provide more than police services. They would include meeting rooms, kitchens, computers, study areas, libraries, bicycle and small-engine repair spaces, children’s play areas, basketball courts, gardens, fire pits, and other useful community resources. Volunteers could help children repair bicycles, assist residents with minor repairs, tutor students, and participate in neighborhood activities.

Each substation would be managed by a sergeant and supported by a Community Affairs Citizens Officer. This officer would organize community use of the building, recruit and coordinate volunteers, and develop an advisory board that includes residents, church leaders, and other trusted community members.

Overall, the proposal calls for a new relationship between citizens and law enforcement—one based on prevention, cooperation, mental-health support, practical assistance, and personal connection. Its central message is that communities can become safer and stronger when people refuse to answer evil with evil and instead choose generosity, peace, kindness, and service. A single neighborhood kindness group or community-focused substation could inspire others, eventually transforming an entire city into a more caring and supportive place to live.
